Help us welcome our new Dodger teachers! 🔴⚫ Amanda Becker will be teaching at Feelhaver Elementary. Amanda had taught for 16 years with the Fort Dodge Community School District and is thrilled to be back. Being an educator in Fort Dodge is important to her because she recognizes the dire needs and challenges faced by both the system and the community. She is committed to being part of the change that supports all students, ensuring they receive the education they need and deserve. Amanda believes in the potential of the human race and is passionate about her role as an educator because she knows that our students deserve a better world than what they are currently offered. Dodger fans - we want to provide some important information prior to the first "Football Friday" of the season. Senior High plays its home opener tonight at 7 p.m. at Dodger Stadium vs Webster City. The Stadium gates will open at 6:00. Admission is $7 per person, 1st grade and up. Individuals using an activity pass must have the actual pass with them. Photos will not be accepted. Please write your name on your pass. Also, once you leave the Stadium you will not be able to re-enter without paying again. 🔴⚫Activity passes will be available to purchase tonight at the football game, from 5:30pm until 7:00pm. It will be cash or check only. We also want to remind fans who plan to support our team of the expectations at Dodger Stadium: ✔All kindergarten through 6th grade students must be accompanied by an adult to enter the stadium ✔5th and 6th grade students are required to sit in the west stands with an adult ✔7th and 8th grade students will be allowed to sit in the designated section labeled "Middle School" in the east stands ✔7th and 8th grade students will only be allowed to leave the middle school section at the end of each quarter & halftime. Students will not be allowed to go to the west side during halftime. This includes restroom and concessions. ✔7th and 8th grade families - check your email or IC inbox for specific information on how students can access their seats at Dodger Stadium. ✔All High School students are required to sit in the designated area located in the Northwest corner of the bleachers. All fans are expected to be kind, be responsible, be respectful and be safe. Dodger pride is a deep tradition and following these expectations will allow everyone to have a positive and memorable Dodger Stadium experience. Dodgers - We're excited to kick off another season of Dodger Football! With the stadium renovation project in progress, there is important information to share ahead of Friday's game: 🏈The NW gate is the only entrance into the stadium. 🏈Entry is $7 per person and we encourage everyone to buy their tickets on Bound. Click on the event you want to attend and you can purchase tickets from the pop up that appears. Purchasing online will help you enter the stadium quicker - your ticket will be on your phone and will be scanned at the gate. You can also print your ticket to scan at the gate. 🏈HS students who have purchased an activity pass will need to check in with Mr. O'Leary at the gate before entering the stadium. #proud2bFD

Help us welcome our new Dodger teachers! 🔴⚫ Amanda will be teaching at Fort Dodge Senior High. Amanda has been a registered nurse for twenty-two years at Trinity Regional Medical Center, spending time in medical surgical nursing and telemetry, cardiac and pulmonary rehab, and most recently as a certified diabetes educator. One of her favorite parts of her job has been educating patients and working with nursing students through the years. She feels inspired to use her experience and knowledge to help FDSH students find their passion and direction in the healthcare field. As a lifelong Dodger, Amanda is excited to be working with the outstanding staff at FDSH, and very proud to be joining a quickly growing Health Occupations program! 🔴⚫ #proud2bFD

🌍 Dodgers spotted abroad! This summer, a group of Fort Dodge students, parents, and staff (both current and former) embarked on an incredible adventure through France, Italy, and Spain! From the Eiffel Tower to the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Colosseum to the Vatican, they explored some of the world's most iconic landmarks, sampled delicious new foods, and even put their language skills to the test!
